Situated in the quiet seclusion of an idyllic valley, this splendid Suite caters for four guests exclusively. It is the perfect getaway for honeymooners or individuals seeking uncompromising privacy and solitude. The idea of the Private Camp is to get away for a day or two - not doing much except spending quality time with a partner or friends. Guided activities are not part of the package and the emphasis is on pure relaxation. Browsing through the library, taking walks in the plains and preparing your own meals (we supply all foods and beverages, you cook and serve 'entre-nous') will keep you fully occupied.
It is recommended that guests, who have not been with us before, book the Private Camp in combination with a night at the Lodge or Dune Camp, joining some of the activities before seeking total seclusion. Should this not be for you, the Private Camp can also be booked with all services and activities included - that is a private Chef and your personal field guide.

The NamibRand Nature Reserve is situated about 400 km south-west of Windhoek close to Sossusvlei and can be reached with any car. The driving time from Windhoek, Swakopmund, Lüderitz and Keetmanshoop is approx. five to eight hours (traveling at leisure). We recommend a two to three night stay at the Wolwedans portfolio of camps, arriving for lunch or at least in the early afternoon to join the afternoon scenic drive. Should you miss this drive, you will still go on a day-tour the next morning. However, please plan to arrive at least two hours before sunset. From Windhoek you travel South via Rehoboth (tarred road) and proceed on gravel road via Kobos, Klein Aub, Rietoog and Buellspoort (B 1, C 24, D 1206) onto the D 854. Where you intercept the C 19 turn left and after some 5-km's turn right onto the D 845. Travel some 16-km's and turn left onto the C 27. You stay on the C 27 heading South, entering the NambiRand NatureReserve, until you find the Wolwedans gate on the right hand side after approximately 38 km. Follow the signs to the Wolwedans farmhouse/reception, which is another 20 km's from the gate. From here you will be transferred to the Wolwedans Dune Camp or Wolwedans Dune Lodge. Please do note leave the main road!
